Literacy Lift Off Begins in St. Molua's NS

The children in 1st and 2nd class have just started their Literacy Lift Off (L.L.O.) block of teaching with Mrs. Crowley, Mrs. Ambrose, Mr. Hayes and with Noreen. The children really love this station teaching approach to guided reading. This L.L.O. block will last for 6 weeks and is an intensive approach to reading and writing and allows the children to read books at their own level. This is the second year that we have had L.L.O. in our school and the children made fantastic progress last year using this approach. It is important that parents of children in these classes read their books every night to reinforce the work done in school during the day. We would like to thank parents for their support with Literacy Lift Off.
