Pupils from Junior Infants to 4th class attended a fabulous performance of 'Old King Cole' by West Midland's Theatre in the Community Hall, Ardagh on Tuesday, December 11th. This festive treat was received enthusiastically by the children, who were delighted with this annual event.

The children of 3rd and 4th class used their December art classes to create these amazing Christmas Dioramas. They represent the story of the birth of Jesus in a real and creative way. They are extremely proud of their work, as is their teacher, Mrs Ruddle.

The Liam Mc Carthy Cup arrived in St. Molua's on Tuesday, November 6th amid huge excitement.  Limerick Abu.

A bake sale was held in the school on October 25th. Children wore their Halloween costumes and enjoyed both buying and eating the tasty and tempting treats on offer. The parents and children went all out and the selection of confectionery on the day was second to none. This beautiful painting of the Ardagh Chalice by Ita Kehoe was donated to the school by Mary Hartnett, Carrigkerry. Mary wanted the painting to have a good home and very kindly offered it to the school. Thank you Mary. We are absolutely delighted.

All pupils in the school have just finished a four week block with our gymnastics coach, David Byrne. The children really enjoyed the lessons some of which took place in the hall and others on the yard. During the sessions the children created and performed a number of sequences, practised and performed forward and backward rolls as well as learning control in take-off, flight and landing. Well done to 6th class pupil Antonia Madigan who was part of the victorious West Limerick Eithne Neville squad. The girls had a hard fought victory over Limerick City in the semi finals before winning the final comfortably against South Limerick. It was great to have a pupil from St.Molua's NS involved. Well done to all the girls on the squad and to the team mentors.
