Music Lessons at St Molua's

All the classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class have been taking part in weekly music lessons since September. After all, there are many different types of intellect and music is one of them, plus life is always brighter with music so from songs to guitars to notes and more the school will soon be filled with musical joy.

Every Tuesday our music teachers Chloe and Dylan come to the different classes to teach songwriting and playing different musical instruments. We have learnt musical terms such as notes, tempo, pitch and volume.

We often warm up first by playing a music themed game, then are shown/handed out the instruments. Next we are shown how to play a melody and we practise them. After that we are given a beat to play the melody to while Chloe and Dylan play along on guitar. We all enjoy our music lesson and look forward to it every week.
