Christmas dioramas with 5th and 6th class

A few weeks ago 5th and 6th class made Christmas dioramas. Most of us did a nativity scene showing Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in a stable. Others also added the Wise Men, shepherds, a donkey and some sheep. One person even did a winter landscape.

We made the dioramas from shoeboxes that we painted black and brown. The characters were cut out of paper that we coloured in and then stuck into the shoeboxes. The floor of the stables were covered in straw that Sarah kindly brought in from her farm. When we had finished we brought them outside and Teresa took a photo of them all.

The cribs looked beautiful, we hope you like them, we had great fun making them.
